Q. How do I book?

A. The simplest way to book is by using our online booking system, simply select your chosen product, scroll to the bottom and click ‘book online’. It’s quick, easy and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.


Q. How long in advance should I book?

A. To avoid disappointment, we recommend booking as soon as possible to secure your chosen product on your selected date and time.


Q. What payment methods are acceptable?

A. At the point of booking full payment will be required, you can make this payment via credit/ debit card or by PayPal, alternatively, you can pay via bank transfer, simply call us to make payment.


Q. Will you deliver to my area?

A. We deliver within 25 miles of Uxbridge. Many of our delivery areas are listed when ‘booking online’, however if your postcode is not available please feel free to Contact Us. As we offer to travel up to 25 miles from Uxbridge, all areas will incur a delivery charge, however the amount will differ depending on how far your delivery postcode is from us.


Q. Are castles suitable for indoor and outdoor use?

A. Yes, all of our castles can be set up outdoors and indoors, depending on the venue size and ceiling height. Outdoors hires will always be weather permitting. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the venue/ area is big enough to accommodate the castle. Please check the required space on our castles before securing your booking.

Q. What will happen in the case of bad weather?

A. If there is a light shower most of our inflatables have a built in cover that will tolerate this and can continue to be used with extra care. In the event of heavy rain/ high wind speed predictions, we will assess the weather conditions on the morning of your booking and contact you as early as possible if there is a need to postpone or offer a FREE date change. If weather condition worsen throughout the course of the day, we will contact you if collection need to be made earlier. If you request to cancel due to the bad weather, cancellation policies still apply.


Q. Can I keep the castle overnight or till late in the evening?

A. Unfortunately, we no longer offer overnight hire. However, late collection may be available past 7pm, at an extra cost.


Q: What do I need to do on the day?

A: You will need to ensure that there is sufficient clear access for us to deliver the bouncy castle and that the site is clear from any debris, animal foul etc (Please bear in mind that if we are on a tight schedule and this is not done before we arrive, we may not be able to wait for access to be cleared). This may also mean moving cars off the drive or cutting back hedges so that we can get through. You will also need to make sure that there is a power supply within 25 metres (unless stated otherwise) of where you want the bouncy castle/ inflatable is to be.


Q. What are your delivery and collection times?

A. This is entirely up to you. Upon booking you will be able to select a FREE flexi delivery (6am - 1pm) or pay an additional charge for a specific hour time slot. The same with collection, you can select a FREE standard collection (4pm - 7pm) or alternatively pay an extra charge for collections later than 7pm.


Q. What age range do children have to be to play on the castles?

A. Each product has a specified age/height limit, you can find these details in the product descriptions. We realise that when a bouncy castle comes out everyone wants to get on and have a go, but please remember that our childrens' castles are designed strictly for children only. Should the adults want to join in the fun too, please consider booking one of our adult castles.


Q. How long can we have the castle?

A. You can have the castle for the whole day if you wish. You can select your delivery and collection times upon booking.


Q. What happens if something goes wrong?

A. In the event that something should go wrong, or if you have any doubt, please contact us immediately on 07522 331905 and we will assist you. We are here to help and should we need to, will return to the venue to fix any issues concerning the castle hire.


Q. Do you have insurance?

A. Yes, We have up to the value of £5 million Public Liability Insurance (PLI).


Q. What happens if I book a castle and then choose to downgrade?

A. Providing that we have availability you are more than welcome to downgrade however if you have been booked in for a castle for more than 2 days, you will still be charged the original price. This is the same if we attend and the product booked doesn't fit, but we provide something that does.


Q. Can we hire more than one castle?

A. Yes, of course you can, we normally get asked to provide a castle for the kids and a castle for adults too. You can book as many products as you require through our online booking system.


Q. Is the equipment safety tested?

A. Yes, all of our castles are either RPII or PIPA tested which state that they have passed the health and safety regulations and are compliant with the European standards BS EN 14960:2013. Our electrical equipment is regularly PAT tested.


Q. What type of surface do I need?

A. All bouncy castles need to be set up on a flat surface in order to be secured to the ground safely. If the hire is outdoors, a grassy area that is free from sharp objects, tree stumps and animal foul is a must. Indoor hires are also fine. We are able to set up our units on hard surfaces outside such as tarmac or concrete (this does not include slabs, block paving etc) however, by selecting hard surface on your booking form, you are giving us permission to drill 10mm holes in order to anchor the castle down (these can be filled in at collection if required). Q. Can I have a party in a park or on public land?

A. This is all dependant on a number of factors. We would need written permission from the land own. There must also be an adequate electric supply. Under no circumstances should the equipment be left unattended at any point.


Q. I do not have a side gate to my garden. Can you bring the equipment through the house?

A. Yes we can, most of our castles can fit through a house, please check the individual product description for the required access width. You will need to make sure there is clear and sufficient access. We will not take any responsibility for any dirt or damage caused by transporting the castle on a sack barrow through the house.


Q. How long does it take to set up the bouncy castle?

A. Full set up and cleaning of a single unit takes approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on accessibility. It will take approximately the same amount of time to pack away. So please ensure this is taken into consideration when booking your time slot.


Q. What happens if I want to cancel?

A. Should you wish to cancel the booking, our cancellation policy is shown below. All cancellation must be received via email to info@wizardbouncycastles.co.uk . Alternatively we can offer a free date change within one year of cancellation.

Cancellations within 7 days of the hire date are subject to either a 50% charge or the loss of the security deposit (£20 per asset) (whichever is greater) of the total hire charge.

Cancellations within 48 hours of the hire date are subject to either a 75% charge or the loss of the security deposit (£20 per asset) (whichever is greater) of the total hire charge.

Cancellations within 4 hours of the delivery time or upon delivery will be subject to 100% charge of the total hire charge.

Cancellations of our event staff are subject to either 100% charge of the total cost or loss of the security deposit (£20) (whichever is greater), as they are paid in advance.

Please note: It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that there is adequate space and electricity supply for the chosen products.This includes the lowest part of ceiling height for indoor venues. All of our product sizes are written within the description of the product, as is the space that we require. On delivery, if the products will not fit in the space provided the hirer will be subject to the full 100% balance of the total charge. We cannot be held responsible if the products do not fit. Each inflatable will require either a 13amp household plug socket or a 16amp cee form socket. You are supplied with a 25m extension cable, if you require longer then it is your responsibility to make prior arrangements with us.


Q. How much electricity does the bouncy castle use?

A. Bouncy castles are powered using an electric fan which cost approximately 20-30p per hour.


Q. I am unsure on size, can you help me?

A. Yes, of course we can! This would save any disappointment on the day. We would request a photograph of the set up area, as normally we can judge based on previous hires. However, we will communicate with you if there is anything further we need.


Q. Can you provide a bouncy castle for an event I am holding?

Yes of course we can. Wizard Bouncy Castles can provide any product required for an event, whether it be a Bouncy Castle, Soft Play, Face Paint & Glitter Tattoos or Popcorn & Candy Floss. For events we will be required to man our equipment, therefore you would need staff too. Please contact us to discuss your requirements on 07522 331905.

Q. Can I downgrade or upgrade my bouncy castle?

Yes of course you can. However if you are downgrading and made your booking more than 5 days ago, the same charges will still apply and no refunds will be offered on the difference. If you are upgrading, then the remaining balance will be due before booking can be confirmed.
