TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE

Please ensure that you read the T&C's fully prior to booking, as you will need to acknowledge & agree to these when completing the booking form.



Payment: We are required to receive full payment at the point of booking, this ensures that on the day you do not have to stress about it and can continue with your party preparations. It will be required that the hirer signs our terms and conditions once the items have been set up on the day, to confirm that they are happy with the equipment and all terms and conditions outlined here.

Once payment has been received: You will receive a confirmation email. Please check your junk and spam folders. It is your responsibility to check and ensure all details are correct and notify us if anything is not. We will be required to receive 2 forms of identification from the hirer, one being a form of photographic evidence and another being a utility bill no older than 1 month. Both of which must correspond with the home address entered onto the booking form, without this you may risk your booking being cancelled. These must be received before 10pm the night before or prior to delivery (for last minute bookings).

We will also be required to receive a photograph of the area where the equipment will be set up. This can be done via Message to 07522331905 or email to info@wizardbouncycastles.co.uk.

On the day: We require there to be clear access when delivering and collecting the equipment, the castle is rolled up to roughly the size of a wheelie bin. If in any instance we have to go through the property, we will do our very best to ensure this is done with care, however, we will not accept any responsibility for any damage that may be caused due to this. We will also be required to receive a £20 retainer fee per individual product, providing that all terms and conditions outlined are followed then this is refundable, in the instance that the terms and conditions are not adhered to then the retainer fee will be forfeit.



Cancellations:

PLEASE NOTE, ANY CANCELLATIONS DUE TO COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS WILL BE OFFERED A FREE DATE CHANGE WITHIN 1 YEARS OF THE CANCELLATION DATE AND AT THIS TIME NO REFUNDS CAN BE OFFERED. Please appreciate that we are a small family run business and the current situation will provide difficult times for us.

Cancellations before 10 days of the hire date are subject to the loss of the retainer fee (£20 per asset) for administration purposes.


Cancellations
within 10 days of the hire date are subject to either a 50% charge or the loss of the retainer fee (£20 per asset) (whichever is greater) of the total hire charge.

Cancellations within 3 days of the hire date are subject to either a 75% charge or the loss of the retainer fee (£20 per asset) (whichever is greater) of the total hire charge.

Cancellations within 24 hours of the delivery time or upon delivery will be subject to 100% charge of the total hire charge.

Cancellations of our event staff are subject to either 100% charge of the total cost or loss of the retainer fee (£20) (whichever is greater), as they are paid in advance.

Please note: It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that there is adequate space and electricity supply for the chosen products. This includes the lowest part of ceiling height for indoor venues. All of our product sizes and required access are written within the description of the product, as is the space that we require, if a downgrade is necessary and your booking was placed more than 5 days ago, the same charges will still apply and no refunds will be offered on the difference. On delivery, if the products will not fit in the space provided the hirer will be subject to the full 100% balance of the total charge. We cannot be held responsible if the products do not fit. Each inflatable will require either a 13amp household plug socket or a 16amp cee form socket. You are supplied with a 25m extension cable, if you require longer then it is your responsibility to make prior arrangements with us.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE- Hire Agreement

It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring this Bouncy Castle/ Equipment to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury to the users or damage to the Inflatable/ equipment. Please ensure that the following safety Instructions are followed:

1) Each unit has an age limit. Please ensure that no-one over this age uses the equipment. If it is not an adult castle then NO adults are to use the bouncy castle.

2) No food, drink or chewing gum is to be allowed on or near the Bouncy Castle/ Equipment which will avoid choking and mess (Please note if the Inflatable/ Equipment is collected in a dirty condition, then the hirer will incur a cleaning charge).

3) All shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges and any other sharp objects that could cause damage or harm MUST be removed prior to using the Bouncy Castle/ Equipment.

4) NO face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string to be used either on or near the Bouncy Castle/ Equipment. (Please note if it is allowed, then the retainer fee will be forfeit).

5) NO smoking or barbeques on or near the Bouncy Castle/ Equipment.

6) Climbing, Hanging or Sitting on the walls is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and must NOT be allowed.

7) A responsible adult over 18 years of age must supervise the Bouncy Castle/ Equipment at ALL times.


8) Always ensure that the Bouncy Castle/ Equipment is not overcrowded, and limit numbers according to age and size of the users. (This is printed on the unit and can be found on the product description on our website). Avoid older children/ adults and smaller children using the inflatable at the same time.

9) Ensure users are not pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.

10) NO pets, toys or sharp instruments to be allowed on or near the Bouncy Castle/ Equipment.

11) Under no circumstances should the blower be switched off, the equipment is to remain inflated for the duration on the hire, this also applies if it is raining, by leaving the bouncy castle inflated it avoids the rainwater pooling on the castle and seeping through to the inside.
However, in the event of strong winds/gusts (24mph +), the castle MUST be turned off immediately.


12) Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front step of the castle, as a child could easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt. The step is to assist users getting on and off only!

13) Ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed to use the Bouncy Castle/ Equipment, as indeed anyone that may be feeling unwell.

14) Do not allow anyone to be on the Bouncy Castle during inflation or deflation, as this is DANGEROUS.

15) Please ensure that users are NOT attempting somersaults. Please ensure that all users are clothed appropriately and that nothing can fall out of their pockets. Socks must be worn at all times. No shoes are allowed to be worn on any of our equipment.

16) All damage occurred to the unit/ equipment whilst on hire will be the sole responsibility of the hirer to make good financially. Should this be the cost of cleaning, repair or failing repair, then a replacement. Please note that our equipment is not cheap and we do our best to ensure we provide our customers with good quality. Please think before allowing anyone to disrespect our equipment, as it will only cost you as the hirer for any misuse.


17) Any injuries, deaths or accidents occurred on the unit whilst on hire will be the responsibility of the hirer and no claim against Wizard Bouncy Castles will be upheld.

18) Any defects which occur to the unit whilst on hire should be reported to the office immediately on 07522 331905.

19) Under NO circumstances must the unit be removed from its secure location or moved from where our technician sets it up.

20) Wizard Bouncy Castle has the right to remove a unit if we think it is being abused, overcrowded or damage at any time.

21) Please note that if any of our members of staff experience problems whilst on the job (for example, are verbally/ physically attacked or made to feel intimidated), we will not hesitate to leave the site without notifying the hirer.

22) Instances where your retainer fee may not be refundable;

  • if it is found to have food, drink, facepaint or mess on it;

  • if it is collected wet due to Rule no.11 or from the use with a swimming pool;

  • If we are delayed with set-up or collection (please ensure children are kept safely away until set up or collection is completely finished).

  • Our job is to set up the bouncy castle/ equipment - If we are asked to 'help' clear space for the castle to fit or if we turn up and there is not enough space, it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure adequate space prior to booking, all measurement information is available on the product descriptions.

  • The bouncy castle is to be left inflated at all times including when we come to collect, however, if it is deflated upon collection the security deposit will be forfeited.

  • If we arrive and the access area is not clear or free from sharp objects, mess or animal faeces.

  • If our staff are physically or verbally abused.

  • When hiring our Soft Play/ Ball Pit, if the balls are not bagged in the bags provided, prior to collection.

  • If our T&C's are not followed

We will do our best to check the equipment and raise any concerns about mess, damage or any of the above on collection, however, please note that if you are a late night collection and there is not adequate lighting to check the equipment, we will aim to put the equipment up for inspection on our next available dry day and process the refund once this has taken place. The refund will be processed at the time the equipment is checked and confirmed to be in the same condition. We will aim to refund your retainer fee (should you be eligible) within 3-5 working days.


23) Some inflatables do have rain covers but this is only suitable for light showers, if bad weather conditions are predicted (heavy rain/strong winds etc) on your booking date, we may need to cancel or change delivery times due to health and safety. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CAN WE SET UP THE INFLATABLE OUTSIDE IF WIND SPEEDS/GUST ARE IN EXCESS OF 24mph. If this occurs then your payment can be transferred to an alternative date within 12 months of your hire date. If a free date change is given/requested, then all cancellations policies will end with the original booking date. Should we deliver but the weather gets worse we may need to collect the equipment early. (No refunds will be offered as we cannot control the weather).


24) It is the hirers responsibility to point out / mark any underground services where the inflatables are to be sited. Our anchor stakes are 380mm long and services should be deeper. However, on private property, this isn't always the case. We will not be held liable for any damage caused to underground services that we aren't pre-warned about.


25) We will do our best to deliver on your selected times however at peak times we do become extremely busy and cannot be in 2 places at one time. If we cannot meet your requested times we will endeavour to have the equipment set up and ready for when your party starts. Please note that your selected times are not guaranteed but we will do our best.

26) The equipment MUST be left inflated for when we arrive to allow for inspection, failure to do this will result in the security deposit being forfeit.


27) In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately and call Wizard Bouncy Castles on 07522 331905. No-one should try to mend or rectify the problem other than ourselves.

By hiring any of Wizard Bouncy Castle's inflatables or goods you agree to all of the above terms & conditions.

We will require 2ft additional space down the side of the castle to allow for anchorage and movement and an additional 4ft at the back for our blower and 3ft minimum at the front for our safety mats.

Please note that all persons using this Bouncy Castle do so at their own risk.

The person/s or organisation hiring out this inflatable/ equipment will NOT be responsible/ liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use.

These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure that they are all fully adhered to at all times.

Our company cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment.

I have read the above agreement and fully understand and accept the conditions listed above. I the hirer am aware that whilst in my care I am fully responsible for the inflatable and will pay for any loss or damage that may have occurred, this will include the inflatable/ equipment being returned in an unacceptable condition, I.e: If it is in a dirty or muddy condition (This could be anything from food, drinks, mud, silly string, face paint and anything else that causes mess) I will have to pay an additional cleaning charge per asset, or if it is returned damaged, I will be liable for the full cost of getting it repaired back to its original state.
